June 15, 2019 - Sanders Lands Three Top 5 Finishes in USMTS Masters
Kicking off the 20th annual Masters presented by Allstar Performance, Rodney Sanders was one 51 United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) entries signed in at Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) on Thursday evening for the three-day event. Following a 6th place finish in his heat, Sanders passed nine cars in his B-Main to place 3rd. 1The following night for another preliminary feature, Sanders cruised to an 8-lap heat race victory which positioned him on the pole for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. With Mother Nature postponing Friday’s main event to Saturday afternoon, Rodney dropped one spot in the 40-lapper to place 2nd behind Terry Phillips with Dereck Ramirez, Michael Truscott, and Brad Waits trailing them to the checkers.

Later that night for the final round of the 20th annual Masters, Rodney secured his spot into the
$10,000-to-win finale with a heat race win. Rolling off 4th, Sanders gained one spot in the 50-lap affair notching a 3rd place finish behind Ryan Gustin and Jimmy Mars with Jake O’Neil and Jake Timm rounding out the Top-5.

June 8, 2019 - Pair of Podium Finishes in USMTS Action
1 Rodney Sanders followed the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) to Superbowl Speedway (Greenville, Texas) on Tuesday night for the $2,500 top prize. Jumping up three spots in his heat, Sanders secured his spot into the A-Main with a 2nd place finish behind Dereck Ramirez. Starting the feature in 8th, Rodney improved five positions reeling in a 3rd place finish behind Ryan Gustin and Jake O’Neil with Cade Dillard and Terry Phillips rounding out the Top-5.

After Mother Nature wiped out a pair of USMTS events on Wednesday and Thursday, Sanders headed to West Texas Raceway (Lubbock, Texas) on Friday. Following a 6th place finish in his heat, Rodney locked his spot into the show with a 2nd place finish in his B-Main behind Adam Kates. Passing eight cars in the 40-lap affair, Sanders reeled in a 7th place finish.

On Saturday evening at Route 66 Motor Speedway (Amarillo, Texas) for the 10th annual Amarillo Ambush, Rodney recorded a 3rd place finish in his heat which positioned him 11th on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win finale. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Rodney Sanders notched a 3rd place finish behind Dereck Ramirez and Jake O’Neil with Kale Westover and Jake Gallardo completing the Top-5 finishers.

June 2, 2019 - 5th Place Finish in USMTS Stop at Tri-State Speedway
1After Mother Nature postponed Friday’s night’s event at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) to another date, Rodney Sanders followed the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) to Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Oklahoma) on Saturday evening. Following a 4th place finish in his heat, Sanders locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 10-lap consolation victory. Breaking into the Top-5, Rodney gained eight positions to place 5th behind Hunter Marriott, Dereck Ramirez, Terry Phillips, and Jason Hughes.

The following night at Creek County Speedway (Kellyville, Oklahoma) for the second annual Bullring Badass, Sanders jumped up four spots in his heat to pick up the 8-lap victory. Starting the $4,000-to-win A-Main in 2nd, Rodney dropped five positions logging a 7th place outing.
