Sanders scores Top-5 finish at Gondik Law Speedway

Rodney Sanders got an early start to his Independence Day weekend on Thursday with a visit to ABC Raceway (Ashland, Wis.) to compete with the WISSOTA Modifieds.

Following a second-place finish in his heat race, Sanders was an early retiree from the 35-lap feature on the eighth circuit.

On Friday afternoon at Gondik Law Speedway (Superior, Wis.), Rodney secured his spot into the main event with a pair of runner-up finish in two rounds of heat race. Losing two spots in the 50-lap affair, Sanders notched a fifth-place finish, which came behind Jody Bellefeuille, Don Eischens, Ashley Anderson, and Shane Sabraski.
