Pair of Top-5 finishes in Modified at Deer Creek Speedway

On Friday afternoon, Rodney Sanders returned to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) to compete in the two-day event in his USRA Modified.

After starting the night off with a heat race victory, Sanders passed five cars in the 25-lap feature to finish third. He trailed Lucas Schott and Jake Timm to the checkers.

For Saturday’s finale, Rodney followed up a fourth-place finish in his heat with an eighth-to-fifth showing in the A-Main.
