Rodney Sanders scores sixth-place finish in USRA Fall Nationals finale at Vado

After pulling off early in his heat race, Sanders raced his way into the preliminary feature with an impressive 17th-to-third run in the 15-lapper. Starting in 21st, Rodney retired on the 15th circuit.

For Saturday’s prelim, Rodney followed up a second-place finish in his heat with an eighth-place outing in the 25-lap feature.

With preliminary results from Friday and Saturday setting the grid for Sunday’s $22,000-to-win USRA Fall Nationals finale, Sanders gained six positions in the 50-lap affair to register a sixth-place finish.
