Rodney Sanders scores MOD WAR 100 prelim victory

Rodney Sanders was one of 86 Modifieds that converged on Heart O’ Texas (Waco, Texas) this past week to compete in the MOD WARS 100.

Following an 11th-place finish in Wednesday’s All-Star Race, Sanders officially kicked off the MOD WARS 100 weekend with a seventh-place finish in Thursday's prelim feature.

For Friday’s preliminary night, Rodney bested his 20-car preliminary to register his 12th win of the season. He banked a $2,000 payday ahead of Cade Dillard and Lance Mari.

The MOD WARS 100 weekend concluded on Saturday with Sanders posting a fifth-place finish in the $50,000-to-win finale. The Happy, Texas, racer chased Jim Chisholm, Jake O’Neil, Terry Phillips, and Jason Hughes to the checkers in the 100-lap affair.
